Kampala, Uganda – The Uganda National Students’ Association (UNSA) has announced its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Elections, scheduled to take place from January 19th to 22nd, 2025, at Seeta High School A’ Campus in Mukono.
According to Wasswa Christopher, Speaker of UNSA, the AGM will bring together delegates from post-primary institutions across the country to discuss the association’s progress, elect new leaders, and set the direction for the forthcoming year.
The event is mandated by Article 6, Section 2.1(a) of the UNSA Constitution, which stipulates that the AGM shall be convened annually.
Delegates are expected to report to the venue with their beddings and personal effects, while mattresses will be provided. They are also required to carry their School ID and National ID for identification purposes.
The arrival time is scheduled between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, and council members are expected to be punctual and ready to participate in the deliberations.
UNSA is the umbrella organization for all students in post-primary institutions in Uganda, with a mandate supported by the Parliamentary Education Act, 2008.
The association aims to promote students’ welfare, interests, and participation in national development.
