In a vibrant display of civic engagement, residents of Usuk County flooded the streets on Wednesday as their MP, Hon Bosco Okiror, spearheaded the NRM membership verification process. The streets were awash with yellow NRM shirts as enthusiastic supporters marched alongside their beloved leader, chanting slogans of unity and progress.
The journey from Hon. Bosco’s residence to the verification center in Akisim village resembled a jubilant parade, with a convoy of motorcycles adding to the festive atmosphere. This remarkable turnout underscored the community’s commitment to the democratic process and their trust in the NRM party.
Addressing the crowd, MP Bosco expressed his gratitude to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for initiating the verification exercise, emphasizing its role in ensuring transparent and fair elections by minimizing irregularities. He urged all eligible voters, aged 18 and above, to participate actively in the process, echoing the spirit of inclusivity and democracy.

In a poignant moment of solidarity, Hon. Bosco visited the bereaved family of late Agan in Okibui Parish, offering condolences and financial support for burial expenses. His presence underscored his dedication to serving the needs of his constituents beyond political mandates.
Highlighting his advocacy for maternal health, MP Okiror announced the procurement of maternity equipment for multiple hospitals in Usuk County, emphasizing the importance of safe delivery practices and accessible healthcare services for expectant mothers.
